about

Foster Cranz sounds like Amy Winehouse, except that she really sounds like Foster Cranz. And unlike Amy Winehouse, Foster is from Texas, lending a pure American Southern soul to the vocalizing, that Amy had to mimic. Foster is primarily a visual artist, illustrator, designer and fashionista now based in Brooklyn, NY. That's where I was lucky enough to pluck her off of Craigslist and record these little gems.

The song is a basic blues, but as imagined through the writer, the one-of-a-kind Eric Biondo, and remixed with a healthy dose of electronic / hip hop by yours truly and Patrick Krouchian, DJ Krou, Telegraph.

lyrics

Water Hole Blues
written by Eric Biondo

Stop
You're pulling me in
You're so unfair
You know I can't swim

The water is cold
The moonlight is dim
Where did you go
Don't leave me for dead
