about

The Wild Yaks are the howling folk punk and poetry of Rob ‘Bronco’ Bryn. Rob and I met in 2007 when he showed me the rental space where I would later build my recording studio in Bushwick. Our childlike (childish?) enthusiasm made us fast friends and we started a band called ‘Wind and the Mountains’ which soon became, ‘The Bird Game’ which was just drums and group chanting. 2 years later, Rob and his Wild Yaks are the toast of the hippest corner of the music world, and poised to perform for Letterman and the Dalai Lama.

I co-produced and mixed their Live at Southpaw EP (unreleased) which includes this track

lyrics

Come out, come out, come out
she said
come out and meet your doom
